The Kentucky Derby is the most famous Thoroughbred racetrack located at Churchill Downs. Named after Samuel Churchill the racetrack was officially opened in 1875. Come visit the historic colorful grounds and get a first-hand experience of the famous sport.

A Louisville native the 1960 gold medalist Olympic boxer Muhammad Ali. In 2005 the six-story museum in dedication to the famous boxer opened its doors. The museum showcases his life and legacy along with his Six Core Principles that he lived by during his life. While at the museum you can get a better understanding of Muhammad’s Six Core Principles, watch historical videos, see exhibits and artifacts.

By far a must-see when you come to Louisville! The museum showcases part of American history about the history of the Louisville Slugger bats and famous athletes. Go behind the scenes to tour the Bat Vault to see bats from the greatest players in baseball history. Be sure to take a tour to see how bats are made and even create your own!

SnoWhat Snoballs is a New Orleans style shaved ice which is soft and fluffy ice that the syrup will absorb into the ice. They have your classic flavors as well as their handcrafted flavors like lavender lemonade. Of course, they have toppings but they also have Snopops which are ice pops from their snoball syrup. Their syrup is made locally from fresh fruits and herbs. They have a main location and they also have a food truck.
