Guys
• Starched jeans are always an appropriate choice whether you’re in the showring or working in the barn
• Khaki shorts can be a comfortable choice when the weather gets warmer
• Comfortable shirts such as polo or Stock Show U t-Shirts are always good for the barn
Girls:
• Keep it appropriate, as the temperatures get warmer the shorts get shorter, but be careful that you don’t let them get too short
o It is NEVER ok to wear boots with shorts in public
• Tank tops are comfortable in the barn, but make sure your shoulders are covered in the showring.
• In warmer climates one of the easiest ways to keep your hair out of your face while your working can be headbands and cute hats.
Sperrys and twisted X’s are great choices for the barn, but remember that boots are always the best choice in the showring
Don’t forget to tuck your shirt in and put on a nice belt
If your boots are black, make sure your belt is black, if brown, keep both your boots and belt brown
