Our next feature in #TheGreatestVolunteers series is Mr. Richie Oakes!
A longtime presence in the Oklahoma agriculture industry, Richie was raised on a 600-head registered and commercial cattle operation that included wheat and hay production. Now the fourth generation to work his family’s land, he is co-owner and manager of his family’s same ranching operation.
Richie currently serves as one of the OYE cattle superintendents and has been part of the OYE team for many years. Even when he’s not working the ring or tending to tasks behind the scenes in his infamous orange golf cart, you’ll be sure to find him and his wife out in the barn helping their grandchildren!
Please join us in thanking Richie for all he does for the youth of Oklahoma agriculture!
