More about our webinar speaker:
Dr. Jon DeClerck is a field-based Technical Consultant for Purina Animal Nutrition and resides in College Station, Texas. He is tasked with leading nutritional support and sales for the cattle business throughout areas of Texas and Louisiana. He grew up on a diversified farming operation outside Aledo, Illinois which includes 100 head of cows. Prior to joining Purina in 2020, he spent time on faculty at Iowa State and Texas Tech University.

– M.S. Ruminant Nutrition, Texas Tech University
– Ph.D. Ruminant Nutrition, Texas Tech University
Research Expertise and Interests:
– Nutritional programs to improve the efficiency of growing and finishing cattle
– Rumenology and rumen development
– Early weaned strategies
– Altering rumen function to bolster animal performance
