Sullivan Supply is excited to announce the 2022 Marketing Intern, Makena Hogue!
Hailing from Trafalgar, IN, Hogue brings valuable knowledge of the livestock industry to the S/S team. Hogue and her family raise show heifers. Along with showing cattle for six years, Hogue also showed hogs for ten. Working alongside her family to get their livestock ready for shows was her favorite part of growing up in the livestock industry. She exhibited her animals at the Indiana State Fair, which happens to be her favorite show. While maintaining a high academic standard, Hogue also served as Vice President and Treasurer for the Indian Creek FFA Chapter. She was also a very active member of Johnson County 4H, serving as Club President for five years. While being extremely involved in her community, she also played volleyball and softball all four years of high school. Hogue is a current freshman at Oklahoma State University, “Go Pokes”! She is pursuing a dual degree in Animal Science and Agricultural Communications. Hogue’s favorite part of OSU so far is the fun atmosphere, the amazing people, and all of the Cowboy traditions!
Hogue is eager to begin her internship at Sullivan Supply to help grow her knowledge within the show industry and to use some of her agricultural communications skills. After college, Hogue plans to find a career that utilizes her knowledge in the agriculture industry and allows her to stay involved in the industry, as well.
