SULL HD Roan Rose’s 1272 is another full sister to breed legends such as CF Solution, SULL Right Direction, SULL Rose Mary 636, SULL Red Rosemary, and HD Ruby. She was also one of my favorite’s cows to admire and is now owned by CHARLES CRYDERMAN of Greenwood Cattle Company. We had a few full sibs to these embryos that were really nice and fit the type and mold of today’s modern shorthorn show heifers. CSF EVOLUTION HC is starting really hit it out of the park with his progeny. The 2020 Cates Farms sale top was sire by Evolution that went onto win the open and Jr shows at the 2020 NAILE as a calf. We think this mating could be a homerun on SULL HD Roan Rose’s.

Full sib embryos to one of our very best and most proven donor, SULL Roses are Red 3213a. If you follow the shorthorn breed you will know that Roses are Red has year after year produced some of our very best and sale toppers every year. One of her daughters, SULL RED KNIGHT ROSE was the 2017 NJHS and NAILE grand champion shorthorn female. SULL RED ROSEMARY herself was a NAILE and NWSS National champion. Success run deep in the mating.

JSUL Who Dat Sultry 7186e stems from the extremely popular and proven mating Who Da Man/6640. These cows have absolutely dominated sales across the country while mated to a variety of sires. The most consistent mating on the Who Da Man/6640 progeny is Angus bulls and the most proven is Silveiras Style 9303, so we thought why not use the full brother of the great Style in this mating, Silveiras El Capitan 6510. Just ask Tim Schaeffer and the Udell family what they think of their Who Da Man/6640 daughters mated to Angus sires. JSUL Who Dat Sultry 7186e is one of the most powerfully constructed daughters from the long line of proven daughters and she combines that power with elite structural correctness and the unique eye appeal you can only find in the Who Da Man/6640 progeny. This young female entered our donor pen last spring. Genetics like these are impossible to put a value on their potential.

This mating was extremely consistent in our 2020 calf crop. We added 2 full sisters to these embryos to our show string for the upcoming year. Another full sister went to Pembroke Cattle Co. that was a highlight in his sale this past fall. We also got an exceptional bull from this mating that we will be promoting soon. ¾ Simmental progeny from this mating are not only big time show heifers but are going to be very valuable in production to mate back for 7/8 purebred cattle. DAF Reba c707 was the 2017 NWSS and FWSS Grand Champion Percentage Female. C707 and DAF Reba c85, (the mother to the popular 2020 NJHS champion percentage female) are full sisters.
