We are filling BIG shoes with this open Superintendent position! Greg Miller put in many, many years with us on the World Beef Expo board and then as one of our Superintendents. We want to thank Greg for the countless hours he put into the World Beef Expo. With that being said, we are looking to fill his position. Please find the details below.
Summary of Job:
The qualified candidate will work with one or two other superintendents to help maintain a high degree of integrity for World Beef Expo by communicating with exhibitors, superintendents, volunteers, and the World Beef Expo Board through the entire show.
Responsibilities:
1. Follow all guidelines and policies of the World Beef Expo and fairly enforce guidelines.
2. Help lead stalling assignments during cattle move-in.
3. Assist with breed cattle check-in and market cattle weigh-in.
4. Review class breaks and show programs.
5. Politely answer questions.
Skills:
1. Passion for the cattle industry and youth.
2. Ability to problem-solve and think quickly and effectively.
3. Superior communication skills.
4. Experience with beef cattle shows.
5. Knowledge of and experience at World Beef Expo is preferred, but not required.
Term of Appointment:
One year term renewable upon agreement of World Beef Expo Board.
Presence Required:
Must be available and on site for the duration of World Beef Expo.
A small compensation may be given to the right candidate.
