We are sadden by the loss of Mark Johnson of Iowa. Mark married his wife, Pam Udell on June 9, 1984 in Hinton, Iowa. They lived in rural Hinton for four years before moving to Maurice, Iowa. Together they began MPJ Cattle Company where they raised and showed cattle. Mark was passionate about raising cattle and farming; he would often check on their land and cattle in rural Hinton. Markf was at one time a member of the Sioux County Fair board, a board member for the American Chianina Association, and the President of the Iowa Chianina Association. Mark loved showing and attending the Iowa State Fair. He went to the Iowa State Fair every single year and only missed twice at the ages of 2 & 3 years old. He loved working with the livestock and youth exhibitors at the fairs. Mark also loved to read, specifically about farming, agriculture, and history. Mark and Pam had two sons: Matt and Brad, and he loved attending all of their various events. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Johnson Family.
