The highly anticipated 2025 NEXT GENERATION Showmanship Academy will be held in Fredericksburg, Texas with 2 one-day sessions to choose from Saturday, May 31 & Sunday, June 1.
Online Registration opens Sunday, April 6 at 6pm. A LINK WILL BE POSTED ON OUR FACEBOOK PAGE AT THAT TIME. Registration is quick & easy! Session sizes are limited & available spots fill up within minutes after registration opens. Be ready to grab a spot!
Here are a few frequently asked questions about the Showmanship Academy:
Q: If we’ve attended the Academy previously, can we come again?
A: Absolutely! We have many who attend this camp each year to continue to sharpen their showmanship skills. Each year, we add new learning stations, different practice drills & new one-on-one opportunities!
Q: Is the Showmanship Academy open to out-of-state exhibitors?
A: Yes, it certainly is! Every season, we have a handful of exhibitors who reside outside of Texas. (Remember, we provide the cattle, so exhibitors don’t have to bring theirs.) Also, Fredericksburg is a beautiful tourist destination, so it makes for a great mini-vacation!
Q: If we are trying to get a group of kids in, do you have any tips?
A: We sure do! When trying to register multiple kids, we recommend:
- Multiple adults registering different kids simultaneously from different devices.
- Saturday fills up the quickest. If Sunday works for your group, it usually takes a few more minutes to reach capacity than the Saturday session.
Q: What information will I need to have on hand during registration?
A: You’ll need the child’s date of birth, t-shirt size, mailing address & parent’s email.
Q: What methods of payment are accepted during the online registration?
A: Most major credit cards & PayPal

This is hands down one of our favorite Battle of the Cattle events we host all year!! The camp atmosphere is so fun, instructors are top-notch, the vibe is fun and interactive & the amount of showmanship improvement that happens is impressive!
