Amarillo Zoo
The zoo is a place to share the wonders of the animal world with kids of all ages. The beautiful 15-acre site is located in Thompson Park, just north of downtown, and features over 60 species.
Splash Amarillo
Amarillo’s only water park with lots of creature comforts for the family. Enjoy zero gravity on the Sidewinder (one of a handful in the world), a large wave pool, lazy river, two speed slides, three serpentine slides and a big kiddie pool.
Wonderland Amusement Park
Sixty years young, Wonderland Amusement Park is a great place for a family to relax and have fun for a reasonable price. Voted the 2009 Park of the Year by Amusement Today, Wonderland is home to the Texas Tornado, one of the top-rated, double-loop steel roller coasters in the nation, and to over 60 rides, attractions and miniature golf.
Blue Sky
We hand-cut our french fries from #1 quality Idaho potatoes. Our onion rings, chile sticks and jalapeño rings are hand-battered right before cooking. We get our green chile from Hatch, New Mexico. We go through gallons of homemade ranch dressing every day and custom blend our signature spices to bring out the flavor of everything we cook. Only Blue Bell ice cream is good enough for our hand-dipped milk shakes. This is how we do things.
