Iowa Simmental Association- Implementing practical solutions that comply with state and local health guidelines so the show can go on.
Here is a recent update from the Iowa Junior Simmental Association on their State Field Day:
The Iowa Simmental board met this morning to discuss the Field Day. We will do everything we can to make the Field Day happen June 6-7 in Afton, IA (Union Co.) With that being said, there may be changes to field day but, we are not certain what those changes would be right now. We will have to meet the requirements of the Governor, Union County Fair Board and the County Health Board.
▪️ Please plan on stalling in your trailers, barns may be available.
▪️ Be prepared to fit at your trailers.
▪️ Generators will be advised.
▪️ There may not be food available on site.
▪️ We encourage everyone to pre-enter.
▪️ Any updates and changes will be posted on the ISA website and IJSA Facebook page.

(It is our hope that by June 6/7 the social distancing will not be an issue but, it will be up to each family/individual to decide on their comfort level as far as social distancing and/or wearing a face mask.)
