The IBCA has an immediate opening for an Executive Assistance/Special Events Coordinator.
The Indiana Beef Cattle Association (IBCA) is an affiliate of the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association and is the state’s member group and issues manager for all segments of the beef cattle industry. Since 1975 it has been the grass roots policy development organization for the Indiana beef business.
The Executive Assistant/Special Events Coordinator shall assist the Executive Vice President with the administrative duties of the office, serve as the staff coordinator and publisher of Indiana Beef magazine, and coordinate the special events of the Indiana Beef Cattle Association. Those events include the food tent at the Indiana State Fair, Hoosier Beef Congress and the annual IBCA Convention. Experience with cattle and an agricultural background is preferred.
Qualified applicants will have computer proficiency in word processing, data entry and graphics. Along with strong personal skills, be task oriented and self-motivated.
