On behalf of the Oklahoma Youth Expo we invite you to join us for the inaugural Ag Mechanics contest at 8 a.m. Wednesday, March 11 at the Oklahoma Expo Hall on the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds.
More than 100 projects were entered by more than 200 Oklahoma FFA students. Projects are designed, fabricated and built by the FFA students ranging from decorative projects, to custom built trailers and livestock equipment. Students are judged and evaluated based on their ability to plan, execute and present their projects. Projects will be on display in OKC on March 11th, and an awards ceremony will take place March 12th at 10 am in the Barn 3 Sales Pavilion at the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds. The top 5 projects in each division will then be sold in an online auction with proceeds going back to the students to help fund future projects and higher education goals.
