Stop by the Sullivan Supply booth at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo and meet Kara Cutshaw, originally from Louisburg, Kansas. Kara joined the Sullivan Supply Sales team as an Iowa Sales Intern in 2019 after graduating from Kansas State University with a Bachelor’s in Animal Science. From there, she has worked with Sullivan Supply as the Assistant Sales Manager at the Texas location for the past four years. Cutshaw has a vast knowledge of the livestock show industry from her time showing lambs and hogs in 4-H to better serve you, our customers.
Kara Cutshaw loves working with the industry people at the shows. Networking and visiting with livestock breeders, fitters, and showmen have been her favorite parts of the job. “I love traveling to both big and little shows. The little shows allow the people to recognize my face and see that we care as much for them as they were at the Texas Majors,” Cutshaw stated. She loves answering questions for everyone, regardless of their knowledge in their respective industries.
Product knowledge is one of Cutshaw’s strengths. Her long history of showing lambs and hogs allows her to develop solutions for people. Kara Cutshaw noted, “Being able to help people create solutions and daily care routines is one of my favorite parts of my job. Having people trust my opinion on different products and how to use them is fantastic.” Her favorite product, in particular, is Sullivan’s Revive. “Revive is a tried and true product and will always be around. It’s one of the best skin and hair conditioners because it’s light but moisturizes,” Cutshaw said.
