Stock Show University had the biggest Grad Program turnout to date this past weekend. 530 kids and parents attended the Stock Show University Grad Program in Kissimmee, Florida over the weekend.
SSU Grad Programs are a rarity in the essence that it is a completely free educational event in highlighting the industry’s best “professors” and allowing the industry’s youth a hands-on opportunity to capitalize on the available knowledge and experience to build their own skillset to be successful.
“The Florida Grad Program was such an awesome experience. The larger crowd created a great energy, and it was impressive to see all attendees so eager to learn and how quickly they caught on. It’s amazing how much the kids grew in their confidence and experience with their project in just two short days. – Tylee Williams, Stock Show University Manager & The Pulse – Hillsboro, Texas”
The kids and parents that attended over the weekend got the opportunity to learn from 32 SSU Professors. They were able to work in groups and one-on-one for a more intensive, hands-on learning experience. “We all learned so much this weekend at Stock Show U in Florida. It was great for us parents who have been away from the show world for many years to learn the new products and trends; and the professors were amazing and so patient with our many questions. A huge thank you to Mark Sullivan and Dennis Der! – Amy Minger, Parent Attendee”
In Stock Show University, we strive to pick the best, most knowledgable people in our industry, that also have the ability to work with the youth of our industry. At Grad Programs the professors get just as much out of the weekend as the attendees do. “It was awesome watching how engaged people were and trying to soak up as much knowledge as possible. The atmosphere was laid back which allowed the kids and the professors to let loose and have a great time!” – Russell Harwell, Professor
