With a background in technical consulting, education, and research, Dr. DeClerck brings a passion for the Simmental breed and a clear vision for advancing the American Simmental Association’s mission. We look forward to Dr. DeClerck’s leadership and contributions to the continued success and growth of the ASA. He will assume the position of EVP on July 1, 2025; Dr. Wade Shafer will continue serving as ASA EVP until his official retirement on June 30, 2025.
