Here is a breakdown of our Bred & Owned Rules and Shows
1. Entries that list the junior member as a breeder and first owner or are owned in a sibling membership are eligible for bred & owned.
2. Dams must be registered with the ACA.
3. Embryo calves do NOT qualify unless the exhibitor owned the donor cow.
5. Foundation and commercial dams do NOT qualify unless the exhibitor can show proof of dam ownership before breeding.
6. You must enter BOTH shows if you plan to show in both the Bred & Owned and Owned heifer shows. We do NOT assume that because the animal is Bred & Owned, you want to be in both shows; the entry form has an option for Bred & Owned AND Owned Shows.
7. Bred & Owned steers must also enter the Owned steer show since they’re held simultaneously.
