The Charolais Charbray International (CCI) World Technical Congress kicked off on April 20 in Prague, Czech Republic, with a welcome reception and dinner. After a historical tour of Prague on April 21, delegates from 13 countries arrived in Brno to start technical activities. On Saturday, April 22, the group made Charolais herd visits to Agrochyt Mohelno and REDU, soil.sr.o. Sunday, April 23, featured the Czech National Charolais Show and the country’s largest agricultural event, Czech National Beef Cattle Show (Charolais Group competition pictured). The CCI Annual General Membership Meeting and Technical Meetings will be held tomorrow. Along with presentations from animal scientists, each participating country will give reports on Charolais activities and performance programs in their respective countries.
