Carey Park Golf Course
You’ll enjoy rates that are very reasonable and a relaxing atmosphere at the Carey Park Golf Course. This 18 hole golf course with over 6410 yards of beautifully manicured grounds is one of the best municipal courses in Kansas.Tuesday through Sunday from dawn to dusk, this beautiful course is open to the public with no membership required and you can reserve a tee time up to week in advance.
Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center
At the Cosmosphere, visitors hear the non-biased, definitive story of the Space Race. With a U.S. space artifact collection second only to the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum and the largest collection of Russian space artifacts outside of Moscow, the Hall of Space Museum is known by space enthusiasts worldwide.
The Hutchinson Zoo
The Hutchinson Zoo is located on approximately 9 acres and has an animal collection of almost 160 animals. Majority of the animals are Kansas native animals with one building that does have animals that are from around the world. The zoo also treats approximately 500 animals annually in its animal rehab program.
