Platt Showpigs has been breeding hogs since before 2007, the operation is based out of Roanoke, Indiana. Owned and operated by Travis and Adrienne Platt. “We have been breeding and helping families find projects for many years with our main goal being customer’s success. We have worked on getting the best set of sows that we could find, as well as partnering on a handful of females with some great breeders in the business.” Says Platt.
Travis and Adrienne have three boys who are just as competitive as their parents and seem to have the same passion for the industry. As seen pictured above this crew has had many successful seasons but we would like to congratulate the 2023 Best of Barns, Best Show Pig Operation, Platt Showpigs.

Austin Thompson is Head Sales Management
Micah Malcolm is a part of Farm Management including Breeding and Farrowing.
Kyle Fisher is also a farm manager, including breeding and farrowing.
Platt Claims, “We have built great relationships with many breeders in the country and enjoy finding families their next champion if we can’t breed them. We help our customers throughout the year with feeding and fitting, as well as any help that is needed to bring success in the showring!” This is what sets this operation above the rest: They actively engage with other parts of the industry to help everyone succeed in the show ring.
