Director Spotlight! Meet Director Lauren Lyssy from San Antonio, Texas.
Lauren Lyssy is a third generation Beefmaster breeder who has continued the legacy gifted to him by his grandfather, father, and uncle. He is married to Alyssa Lyssy, and has two children, Leanne Lyssy and Landon Lyssy.
He prides himself as being a cattleman who embraces progressivism and is continually striving to stay on the forefront of the beef industry. He is co-owner and manager for Lyssy Beefmasters and is an involved member serving on many BBU committees, such as International, Long Range Planning, and Breed Improvement.
He is an Associate Board member of the Live Oak Beefmaster Breeders Association (LOBBA), and a member of South Texas BBA (STBBA), and Lone Star BBA (LSBBA).
