IMPORTANT COW/CALF RULES UPDATE –
At the spring board meeting, the ACA Board of Directors voted to move the cow/calf class out of the heifer show and select a Grand Champion Cow/Calf Pair for each breed composite (Chiangus, Chianina, Chi-Composite) at ALL shows, effective for the 2024-2025 show season.
What does this change means for Junior Nationals?
We will now select a Grand Champion Heifer in the Chiangus, Chianina & Chi-Composite Shows, as well as a Grand Champion Cow/Calf Pair in the Chiangus, Chianina & Chi-Composite Shows. All of these champions will be eligible to show for the Supreme Champion Breeding Animal at the Junior Nationals.
