One of our showmanship judges is Breanna Lawyer from Shirley, Indiana. She is a graduate of Black Hawk East and Purdue University where she received her bachelors in Ag Business and was a member of two very successful livestock judging teams-being awarded as the National Champion senior college team. Breanna is currently the US Swine Marketing Brand manager at Elanco Animal Health. When asked what advice she would give NJSA members she says, “Work hard, stay humble and always conduct yourself as if a younger NJSA member is looking to you as a role model.” Please join me in welcoming Breanna Lawyer to the 2024 National Junior Summer Spectacular!
Our second showmanship judge is Hannah Nixon from Floydada, Texas. She received her bachelor’s in Animal Science with a minor in Mass Communications from Kansas State University and a Masters of Meat Science from Texas Tech University. Hannah has been judging since she was 8 years old, while in college she was a member of the 4-time national champion team of the year at Butler Community College and was on the Reserve Champion Team at Kansas State University. She is currently a Digital Marketing Specialist for Angus Media.
