Being a Sullivan Supply Sales Representative is a, opportunity that bring so many experiences along with it. They get the ability to travel to shows all across the country, and the chance to meet and interact with people from all over our Ag Industry. Our Sales Representatives have become the friendly, familiar faces that many have come to know. We wanted to allow our customer base to further get to know those faces in the window. Today we feature Sullivan Supply Assistant Show Manager, Kara Cutshaw comes to use from Louisburg, Kansas. She came into the Sullivan Supply family two years ago as a summer intern in Dunlap, Iowa, and has since worked her way to Assistant Show Manager at our Hillsboro, Texas location over the last year. Kara grew up with a passion for our show industry while showing lambs and is thankful she has gotten the opportunity to turn her passion into a career.
Experiencing so many places and livestock shows is one of the biggest advantages to being a Sales Rep in the livestock industry. One of Kara’s favorite opportunities from her position with Sullivan’s has been getting to travel all over the United States. “This career has brought me many opportunities, but there’s a few that stand out to me. The opportunity to travel to so many new places and shows that I haven’t been before, being from Kansas I didn’t get to experience shows like the Fort Worth Stock Show and the Houston Livestock Show, it has been an eye-opening experience” states Kara. She believes getting the opportunity to travel to some of the big Texas greats has made her experience feel more impactful.
Another benefit that Kara is grateful for is the opportunity to network and build new relationships with so many people within our industry. “The ability to network and build relationships with customers all throughout different species in our industry is amazing” noted Kara. Making these connections with people of the industry allows Kara to see first-hand what the livestock show supply business does for the people of our industry. “What I believe Sullivan Supply does for the industry is that we give a dependable, one stop customer experience providing all of their needs for show day, and the products and tools for all the days in between” says Kara.
