2024 NJLSC Judge Announcement

The North American Limousin Junior Association is pleased to announce Ryan Rathmann as the 2024 NJLSC Neogen Ultimate show judge on July 2!
Ryan is an Associate Professor and holder of the John W. and Doris Jones Endowed Professorship in the Department of Animal and Food Sciences at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. Ryan is the all-time winningest coach in collegiate history having coached nine National Champion Collegiate Livestock Judging Teams (3 at Texas A&M and 6 at TTU) and five National Champion Meat Animal Evaluation Teams. Ryan has judged local, state, or national junior and open cattle shows in over 35 states and internationally. He conducts research in beef cattle nutrition and teaches courses in cow/calf management, animal breeding and genetics, artificial insemination, and livestock/carcass evaluation. Ryan is married to Kayla Kohls Rathmann, and they have two daughters, Kinlee and Karlee. They operate RK Cattle – a Red Angus seedstock operation. The girls show Red Angus and Charolais heifers, Angus steers, and Dorper sheep.
