What is your favorite part of being a Professor at a Stock Show University Grad Program?
I really enjoy the interaction with all of the kids and the one-on-one time I get to spend with each of them.
What do you feel is the importance of educating youth in the show cattle industry?
I think it is important to educate the kids in order to prolong our industry and continue to build it up and secure the future of the industry.
What advice would you like to five your students as they go back home and start working on their cattle?
Have patience and practice, practice, practice! Take in everything that the professors taught you and apply it. Winning will not come easy but in the end hard work will pay off.
What would you tell someone who is thinking about attending a Stock Show University Grad Program?
It is an awesome opportunity to take part in a unique learning development program that was engineered for show cattle kids. With sessions from beginner to advanced there is truly something for everyone to learn.
