Today we pray for the the livestock folks who keep second-guessing themselves. Lord, they keep thinking, “But what if I had done this instead of that?” Or perhaps they think, “Maybe I made the wrong breeding decision, and now I can’t fix it.” Or maybe they’re questioning a purchase they made, a feeding decision, how they clipped the stock, or the way they laid out their new barn. Maybe they’re questioning if they fed for the right show or put in the right eggs. Perhaps the stress of it all makes them wish they could redo it all. Today, Lord, please remind them that even in regret, anxiousness, and decision-making days they are safely held by You. Remind them that they’re working for Your greater good and that You always have a plan even when they may not understand it now. We ask in Jesus’s name, Amen.
