On the final weekend of the 2026 National Western Stock Show, new president and CEO Wes Allison discussed his first year leading the historic 120-year-old event. The conversation too place inside the impressive Sue Anschutz-Rodgers Livestock Center with its green-turfed show arena. “For me it has been a lot of observing and making sure we are ready,” said Allison about his year-one NWSS. “We have a great staff and a great crew.”
