Shane Meier and his crew with the Battle of the Cattle have been working on a Junior Market Steer Show for the youth of Texas for a few months now. The idea of The Patriot Junior Market Steer Show powered by Battle of the Cattle has been in the works and came very fitting in line with the cancellation of the 2021 Fort Worth Stock Show. The show is set for February 2nd – 7th, 2021 in Abilene, Texas and will be catered to the 4-H and FFA youth of Texas to show their haired steers one last time before the slick shear season begins. The committee has put together a schedule that will be impact the Texas youth with a premium auction to round out the show on February 7th.
