ALL BREEDING STOCK AND MARKET HOG CONSIGNMENTS MUST SHOW OFFICIAL OWNERSHIP BY THE EXHIBITOR (OFFICIALLY TRANSFERRED THROUGH THE ASSOCIATION OFFICE)
Team purebred will be conducting a national jr classic (barrows and gilts). this is open to all breeds and crosses.
Purebred and crossbred open market hog show will be conducted. this will be separate from the junior show.
Market show (except for the truckload event) will be non-terminal.
Minimum weight: 200# – there will be no maximum weight.
All purebreds must be born on January 1, 2020, and after. this is for both the junior and open show.
This show will feature nine breeds of purebred boars and gilts.
(Berkshire, Chester, Duroc, Hampshire, Hereford, Landrace, Poland China, Spotted, Yorkshire)
All national show breed association rules apply in regards to breed eligibility.
Stress Requirements: Berkshire, Poland, and Spotted. National rules apply.
CROSSBRED BOAR AND GILT SHOW AND SALE WILL BE OFFERED
American Berkshire Association/Certified Pedigreed Swine encourage any December farrowed purebred boars and gilts as well as Tamworth Breeders to enter in this class.
AMERICAN BERKSHIRE ASSOCIATION/CERTIFIED PEDIGREED SWINE WILL SELECT “THE GRADUATE” A BOAR AND GILT OF EACH RESPECTIVE BREED.
This acts similarly to “The Hog College” program.
Truckloads must be ractopamine free and exhibitors will be authorized to sign a document signifying such (purebred and crossbred division)

*CPS-truckload-open market-crossbred boar and gilt entries available through cps office
