The NJSA is proud to have Chad Martin serve as one of our Showmanship judges for the 2025 Exposition.
Chad is from Flora, Indiana and serves as the Director of Strategic Outreach at Indiana Pork. His work involves managing and creating statewide Pork Checkoff programs to support Indiana’s 2,800 pork producers. He also is very involved with the youth of Indiana by cultivating a talent pipeline to address agriculture labor shortages, managing the Certified Indiana Bred program, and an all-around skillathon series. Additionally, Chad teaches a foreign animal disease preparedness course, as well as guiding the summer college student internship program at Indiana Pork.
In his free time, Chad operates Chad Martin Showpigs, consisting of 25 Yorkshire, Duroc, and exotic sows. Chad is an alumni of Joliet Junior College, Western Illinois University, and received his graduate degree from Purdue University.
