Laissez les bons temps rouler! And this week, the Brangus breed did just that! The 2025 National Junior Brangus Show has wrapped a successful week of Brangus on the Bayou. Whether it was family fun or fierce competition, every exhibitor and attendee could feel the thoughtful planning and long hours poured into making this event run without a hitch.
At the helm of pulling off this feat was Lori Edwards-Dunkerly, newly appointed the Director of Education and Events, on top of rocking her other new role of mom! To Lori, Abby, Rick, the entire Brangus staff and IJBBA Board of Directors: hats off to you for your unwavering dedication to the breed and its future.
Each junior exhibitor showed up with impressive commitment, confidence and courtesy. From the early mornings in the barn to the late nights prepping for contests, your work didn’t go unnoticed. As the week in the cajun country concludes, the quest for the Sooner State next year begins — we’ll see ya there!
