The NJSA is excited to present Todd Beyers as the purebred gilt judge for Summer Spectacular!
Todd was raised in Pana, Illinois, on his family farm that focused on corn and soybean production as well as a commercial sow operation of about 50 sows, and 30 head of commercial cattle. He now resides in Abernathy, Texas with his wife Moriah and their three children, Bryleigh, Zane and Blayne. As a family they own and operate Byers
Farms Texas, a 35 head Chester and Crossbred sow herd.
Todd attended Lake Land Junior College and Texas A&M University, where he was a member of the Livestock Judging Team at both institutions. Todd then furthered his education and earned a Masters Degree from Texas Tech University, where he assisted in coaching the 2007 National Champion Livestock Judging Team.
He currently works as a Swine Show Feeds Specialist for Premium Advantage Show Feeds. He also serves as a Sales Consultant for ShowPig.com. Todd believes strongly in the importance of using a showpig and junior organizations such as the NJSA to develop the next generation of leaders in animal agriculture
