The NJSA is pleased to have Pat Arkfeld joining us in Louisville, KY to evaluate our Bred & Owned Gilt show at the 2025 Summer Spectacular.
Pat is originally from Dunbar, Nebraska but currently resides west of Topeka, Kansas with his wife Becky and their two children Beau and Avery. He is a graduate of Hutchinson Community College and Kansas State University, where he was a member of the livestock judging team at both institutions.
Pat works as a herdsman at Sunflower Genetics where he works alongside his in-laws managing 450 purebred Simmental and Angus cows focused on producing bulls sold in their annual production every March. He is also very involved in the showpig industry where he is the owner and operator of Arkfeld Genetics alongside his family. They specialize in Duroc, Hampshire, and Crossbred showpigs and breeding stock that they market to youth and breeders across the country.
