Sullivan Supply Dealer: Cahil Show Supply

Cahil Show Supply out of Brazoria, Texas, has been a Sullivan Supply Dealer since 2016. They spend their months traveling to shows across Southeast Texas, covering about 20 to 25 shows a year. Randy Harang, the owner of Cahil Show Supply, first started in the livestock show industry by sharpening clipper blades. After some years of observation saw the need for a show supply dealer in the region. “I saw that we didn’t have access to a lot of show supplies at the shows I was attending. We used Sullivan Supply products when my children showed, so I checked into becoming a dealer,” stated Randy. Let’s get to know your Southeast Texas Sullivan Supply dealer, Cahil Show Supply, and Randy better in our quick interview below!

Why do you like working in the livestock show industry?
“Having been a business owner and in retail sales my entire life, I saw a need that was not being addressed in our area. My kids showed, and we always had a supply trailer that took care of our needs. I wanted to supply the kind of service that we had. I enjoy seeing old friends and making new friends. I like assisting them in finding what they need for their animals. I enjoy visiting our customers to find out what products work for them or researching what they want to achieve with their animals. I also enjoy sharpening blades, repairing clippers, fans, and blow dryers.”

What do you believe Sullivan Supply does for the livestock show industry?
“Sullivan Supply provides the newest and most up-to-date products for all species. They are always looking for ways to improve their products and provide excellent informational videos to help anyone willing to learn and do the work necessary to enhance their chances of competing in the show ring.”

What opportunities have you gotten by working as a Sullivan Supply dealer?
“I’ve increased my knowledge of the Sullivan Supply product line and learned more about all of the species, especially those I had previously had limited exposure to. I have made some great friends and enjoy getting to see them at shows. It has allowed me to pass along the knowledge that I have acquired over the years and see others benefit from it.”
