We start off this offering with some fresh new genetics and matings. We are just starting to expand our angus genetics and no better place to start than with; EXAR Frontier Gal 1257 that was a past sale topper from Express Ranch. She had a lot of success during her show career as she was a calf champion at the, NAILE, NWSS, and FWSS and was also a Reserve Division at the 2018 National Jr heifer show. We were truly impressed with the Pendleton progeny we saw them at Ward Brothers that we decided 1257 would be a perfect mating back on her. We have not had any progeny from this fresh new mating but have extra high hopes of what is to come from these two great additions to our Angus program.

In 2019 she was selected as the Grand Champion Bred-n-Owned female. She is one of the most impressive percentage Simmental heifers we have ever raised at Sullivan Farms back by one of our most consistent and versatile donor. Reba’s Fancy was also selected as the Reserve Champion percentage female at the 2020 NWSS Open show. Her dam, DAF Reba C85 was the 2016 Grand Champion Percentage Simmental Female in the Jr. Show at the NWSS and went on to be the Reserve Supreme at the 2016 Iowa Beef Expo as well as 5th overall female at the National Jr. Heifer Show. One full sister recently sold through Travis Pembroke’s sale for $14,000 another is highlighted in the Fitz Genetics bid off and another was added to our show string.
