Next up is our Beef Cattle Judges — Amanda Schnoor & P.D. Miller!
Amanda Schnoor from Chowchilla, California. She and her sisters were very successful in the show ring with show steers and purebred angus cattle. She is a graduate of Oregon State University and has a masters degree from the University of Missouri.
Previously, Amanda was the judging coach at Modesto Junior College for 9 years. Now, she is home at the family business with her husband and 3 kids where they focus on farming and a commercial cow herd.
Amanda has judged numerous shows across the country – including the American Royal, North American, and National Western, as well as many state fairs and jackpots.

PD Miller is from Torrington, WY where he is the Show Cattle Manager for M Lazy Heart Ranch, specializing in elite club calf genetics, competing on the state and national level for the past 20 years. PD is a graduate from Butler Community College where he was the #1 Academic All American and from Oklahoma State University where he was part of the National Champion Livestock judging team, ending his collegiate career as high individual in Louisville.
Now, back at the ranch, PD and his family host 5 sales annually selling over a hundred show cattle yearly, while still operating a feedyard, and feed store.
PD’s judging career has taken him to 34 states as well as Canada.
