Let’s introduce you to a familiar face, Katie Cull. Serving as the Show & Site Manager for Sullivan Supply Ohio since August 2018, Katie brings a wealth of experience to the team. A Nebraska native, she spent 17 years exhibiting registered Shorthorns at local, state, and national shows. With a firm background in the livestock world, it has equipped her with extensive product knowledge across both cattle and multiple other species.
Katie Cull shared that her decision to join Sullivan Supply was driven by a desire to give back to the industry that shaped her childhood. “Watching young people step into this world with excitement and hope is what makes this job so rewarding,” she said. “I love supporting junior exhibitors and helping them find the tools they need to succeed in the livestock world.”
She reflected on how meaningful the experience is, not just professionally but personally: “The livestock show industry is truly unique. As a kid, you don’t always realize the friendships you make will become lifelong bonds. Now that I work in the industry, I get to be part of those key moments in young people’s lives. It’s a privilege.”
For Katie, working at Sullivan Supply feels like reconnecting with old friends. “It’s like working with the same people you once counted down the days to see each summer, now you get to share that passion every day. That same feeling carries over to shows, watching kids form their own friendships, chase big goals, and prove that hard work really does pay off – both in and out of the ring.”
She added, “Junior Nationals have always been my favorite event, first as an exhibitor, and now as part of the Sullivan Supply team. It’s a full week of growth, competition, and connection, from contests to Stock Show U, and finally, the ring. Where else can your biggest competitors also be your closest friends, pushing you to be your best?”
