We will come together to honor the legendary Tom Dalbey by hanging his prized possession (cowboy hat) in the White Elephant Saloon. Above all Tom’s accomplishments his ability to be a loyal friend was of the highest regard. So it only seems fitting that he be honored in a place where friends continue to gather for fellowship, swapping tall tales and rounds of stiff drinks. Many nights of laughter and drinks flowed freely at this establishment, and I think when Tom suggested his hat be hung in the White Elephant, he secretly knew his crew would be more likely to visit him in the Fort Worth Stockyards than any cemetery. And how special are we that anytime we are passing through town we will always be able to share a drink with our pal, Tom Dalbey. Who will always be remembered as a respected cattleman whose word meant something and his presence reassuring. So we invite you to share in this unique experience honoring our beloved friend who loved the land, livestock and all people who shared his way of life. A very special thank you goes out to everyone who has made this grand gesture happen.
