The Oklahoma Youth Expo and the National Swine Registry are excited to announce the inaugural Purebred Yorkshire Barrow show in 2023, thanks to a $50,000 endowed gift from NSR, the American Yorkshire Club and Yorkshire enthusiasts and breeders. This is separate from the OYE market Yorkshire barrow show.
The show will take place on Monday, March 13, 2023 following the OYE barrow futurity showback. The winner of the purebred Yorkshire barrow show will receive a cash premium. Any purebred Yorkshire barrow shown can also show in the OYE market barrow show. Any purebred Yorkshire barrow shown will count as one of the exhibitor’s three market barrows, regardless if they are being shown in the OYE market Yorkshire barrow show.
