What started as a passion for the youth of the Red Angus breed, has now grown into the largest gathering of Red Angus juniors and breeders in the country. From 23 juniors and 61 entries during it’s debut in Iowa in 2006 to the 320 juniors and 508 entries exhibiting this year in Chickasha, OK, the North American Junior Red Angus Event (NAJRAE) has continued to blaze a trail. Founders Dan and Cheryl Johnson, volunteers, participants, families, breeders and sponsors have helped make this event to what is today.
