The Inaugural Missouri Angus Phenotype/Genotype (PGS) Open Heifer Show will take place on Friday, August 9 following the selection of Grand Champion Angus Bull. This is a new show conducted by Missouri Angus Association that is not listed in the fair book.
All entries MUST have Genomically Enhanced EPDs at time of check-in and be entered in the Missouri State Fair Open Angus Show to be eligible to show. There are no late entries for the Missouri State Fair, so make sure you have submitted your entries by Monday, July 8 at 5 pm. Missouri State Fair Open PGS Heifer Show Rules:
1. Open to any Angus heifer entered in the Missouri State Fair Open Show.
2. Exhibitor must be a paid Missouri Angus ($45) or Missouri Junior Angus Association member.
3. $20 entry fee per head must be paid at check-in on Wednesday, August 7.
4. Fitting Rule: No paint.
