Christmas Day: Jesus Is Born

 Luke 2:11
“Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”

In Bethlehem, the prophecy was fulfilled: Jesus, the long-awaited Messiah, was born. Mary wrapped Him in cloths and laid Him in a manger because there was no room in the inn. Shepherds nearby were visited by angels who proclaimed good news of great joy for all people, and a multitude of the heavenly host praised God, saying, “Glory to God in the highest.” Jesus’ birth was humble yet glorious — a King born not in a palace, but in a stable, bringing salvation, hope, and peace to the world.
