Meet the 2017 AJSA Trustee Candidates: Clay Sundberg

Clay Sundberg, Illinois
Sundberg is from Arlington, Illinois, and is currently a junior at LaMoille High School. After graduation, he plans to attend a junior college and compete as a member of the livestock judging team while majoring in Ag Business or Agricultural Communications. Sundberg has been member of the Illinois Junior Simmental Association for seven years where he currently serves as the Vice President and has served on several committees, including the National Classic planning committee. If elected, Sundberg’s goals include getting to know AJSA members throughout the country on a more personal level, and listening to any feedback or ideas which will positively impact the AJSA. Sundberg is confident that AJSA Hotwire articles are a great way to connect both junior and senior members, and plans to continue supporting these articles which are included in the Register. His goal is to implement more programs, in addition to the educational contests, which will encourage members to network and make lifelong connections.

All AJSA members will vote for two trustees from their region at the AJSA Annual Meeting.
