In the livestock industry, experience and heart go hand in hand, and Andrea Jankowski brings both in abundance to her role as Sales Manager – West for Sullivan Supply. After many successful years serving customers from our Lodi, California location, Andrea now leads our new Sullivan Supply facility in Galt, CA, guiding our Western region operations and supporting show families across the West Coast.
Raised in the livestock world, Andrea was born into the industry — her father spent 30 years as a high school FFA advisor, and she lived the 4-H and FFA lifestyle from day one. That legacy translated into her own involvement in livestock; she began showing sheep as a young girl and built her own flock from a few head in 2000 to more than 150 wether dams by 2020, gaining hands-on experience with sheep, goats, hogs, and cattle along the way.
With over a decade of retail experience and a lifelong background in livestock, Andrea’s transition to leadership felt like a natural fit. She has known the Sullivan Supply brand from both sides — as a long-time customer at our Lodi warehouse since 2000 and now as a trusted leader for our Western region. “Sullivan Supply has always been the leader in the livestock showing industry,” she says, and today she’s proud to carry that torch forward from our new home in Galt.
Andrea’s favorite part of the job is educating young showmen on how to care for and elevate their animals. She thrives on the opportunity to mentor and empower the next generation. Whether it’s guiding someone through a product recommendation or helping them through a challenge in the barn, Andrea is passionate about sharing her experience to make their journey smoother.
“I absolutely love when a product I recommend solves a problem,” she says. “Or when someone is in a bind and we come in to save the day.” Those moments filled with trust, teamwork, and triumph are what make it all worth it.
Her advice to anyone in the industry is simple but powerful: “There is no magical product that will substitute for hard work and effort.” It’s a mantra she lives by and one she hopes every young exhibitor embraces.
From engaging with show families across the West Coast to reconnecting with familiar faces, Andrea brings experience, humor, and heart to everything she does. She’s not just a leader — she’s a mentor, a problem solver, and a cheerleader for the show families she serves.
