Growing up on her family’s farm in Atlantic, Iowa, our featured Sales Representative, Paige Jensen developed a passion for agriculture at an early age. She was first introduced to the livestock industry through 4-H, where she exhibited crossbred steers before expanding her family’s operation by starting a small cow/calf herd and later adding swine. That foundation sparked a lifelong appreciation for the livestock industry and ultimately led her to earn a degree in Agricultural Media and Communications from Northwest Missouri State University.
Now, after a little more than a year with Sullivan Supply, she has quickly made her mark. In fact, she earned the distinction of being named Sullivan Supply’s first-ever Rookie of the Year, an accomplishment she considers one of her proudest moments with the company.
When asked what drew her to Sullivan Supply, her answer was simple: she loves promoting the agriculture industry and the people who make it what it is. Whether she’s helping a first-time exhibitor choose the right products or answering questions from young livestock enthusiasts, she enjoys making a positive impact on the next generation.
“This industry is the one that keeps the world spinning,” she says, a belief that fuels her passion every day.
One of her favorite aspects of being a Sales Representative is the opportunity to travel, experience new places, and meet people from across the country. Louisville, Kentucky, has become one of her favorite destinations, and she enjoys every chance to explore somewhere new while representing Sullivan Supply.
Her favorite memory with the company came while attending the Aberdeen Junior Nationals, where celebrating everyone’s birthdays together reminded her that Sullivan Supply is more than just a team; it’s a family.
Throughout her first year, she’s also learned the importance of asking thoughtful questions to better understand each customer’s needs. Taking the time to listen allows her to recommend the products that best fit each exhibitor and their livestock.
When it comes to favorite products, she’s quick to mention Pink Oil and Game Changer as two must-haves. Her favorite species to work with is cattle, and if she’s traveling between shows, you’ll likely find her stopping for a No. 9 from Jimmy John’s while listening to a Spotify playlist with more than 700 liked songs; keeping every road trip a little different.
Looking back, she credits her very first 4-H leader as one of the biggest influences in her livestock journey. That mentorship helped shape her passion for the industry and inspired her to invest in helping others along the way.
Her advice for anyone considering a career as a Sullivan Supply Sales Representative is straightforward: “Don’t be afraid to make new connections because those individuals can open many doors for you.”
We’re proud to have her representing the Sullivan Supply family and look forward to seeing the relationships she continues to build and the impact she’ll make throughout the livestock industry.
