Next in our 2025–2026 AJCA Board of Directors introductions is your Secretary/Treasurer, Mikayla McDonald of Perry, Georgia!

At 20 years old, Mikayla is proud to serve on the AJCA Board after years of looking up to the leaders who helped shape Junior Nationals and the association into something so impactful. Inspired by the example past board members set, she stepped into this role to grow as a leader, build lasting connections, and give back to the AJCA community that has meant so much to her.

Throughout the rest of her term, Mikayla hopes to be someone members can always turn to for support, while also bringing fresh ideas to the association and cheering on Chianina exhibitors at shows across the country. Her advice for juniors this show season? Ask questions! Whether it’s fitting, feeding, daily care, or getting more involved, there’s always something to learn.
