Meet Midwest Sales Representative, Lakyn Pettijohn!

Meet Lakyn Pettijohn! Originally from Kansas, Lakyn graduated from Colby Community College in 2023 with an Associate of Science in Animal Science. Her passion for the livestock industry was shaped through years of showing livestock in Kansas. In May 2025, she joined Sullivan Supply as a Midwest Sales Representative. In this role, she is excited to give back to the industry that has played such a meaningful role in her life by supporting customers, connecting with show families, and inspiring the next generation of livestock enthusiasts.

 

What are you most excited for as you start your Sullivan Supply position? “I have always valued being part of the livestock community, where I gained valuable experiences and looked up to the individuals who dedicated themselves to supporting this industry. As I continue my journey, I look forward to the opportunity to travel, connect with others, and inspire the next generation to pursue their passions within the livestock world. I am especially excited to engage with the many outstanding individuals who make this industry so special.”

 

How has the livestock industry impacted your life prior to this position as a Midwest Sales Representative? “Throughout my show career, I primarily exhibited swine and raised some show pigs at home. I competed in jackpot shows across Kansas and participated annually in both the Kansas State Fair and the Kansas Junior Livestock Show (KJLS). In addition to swine, I also showed goats and cattle, mainly at the county fair level, gaining valuable experience with a variety of species. Throughout these experiences, I have had so many positive experiences, and I am excited to continue this within my position at Sullivan Supply.”
What is one random fun fact about yourself??Fun fact: I may be a sales representative for Sullivan Supply, but I am also a licensed cosmetologist.
