Maine and Chianina Associations Service Project

Bring your old Boo Boos and Yogi’s to the camping event and we will help the Georgia and Alabama associations with their community service project.
They are collecting teddy bears that will be going to the Louisville Metro Police Department 4th Division. They are the division that patrols the expo area.
Police officers will use these bears to comfort or calm children that are in a stressful or abusive situation. Some of these children tend to not want to be comforted by a human being, but will take the bear (or stuffed animal). It helps the police officer be able to destress the child until the child can get in a better situation.
If interested in donating to the service project, you can bring stuffed animals by the Georgia and Alabama state display areas throughout the week.
