We’ve shared quite a lot about the Producer Profitability initiative and it’s exciting to see the conversation and efforts spread to other parts of the country.
Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin will have their first opportunity to engage later this month as Lanesboro Sales Commission, Inc and Decorah Sales Commission bring the Producer Profitability conversation to producers there.
Livestock producers face challenges with access to land, labor, over-regulation, and input costs that push more and more producers and acres out of livestock production every year. This trend seen across the U.S. is a critical threat to the livestock industry and our nation’s food supply.
Now is the time for action. Cattle producers of all sizes, of all types of operations, and all levels of industry involvement are urged to turn out for these events on May 29 in Decorah, Iowa, May 30 in Lanesboro, Minnesota, and June 5 in Coon Valley, Wisconsin.
